Wow, I haven’t seen this kind of dedication in a beta-universe Striders piece in forever - I’m fucking floored
The perspective, the knicknacks, the body language, the way it’s almost heartfelt, painful, distant but still shows in the grips of their hands that Bro’s there with the needle as surely as he is with the sword - Dave clutches at that edge in what could be bitten back pain or shame/disappointment
Regardless of what happened to get them here, they’re both still here
Seriously though, this image is fucking wild
The thumbprint swipe from turning the light on, opening the first aid kid, everything’s immediate, that line was crossed and they’re in there to make the correction with that Strider alacrity
Their toothbrushes, the laundry, Cal, the rinsed blood in the sink, their fucking reflections being just as obscured as the camera angle and still just as expressive - this is incredible and I’m still finding things to be in awe about. Even down to the marred walls. Everything’s there, everything’s indicative without being cluttered in a way that says something besides ‘lived in at close quarters’

except then the job of the decoy got popular

Adobe is going to scrap their hard copies (disks) for their software (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Flash), and have you pay a subscription for the latest software called the Adobe Creative Cloud. $50 per month. Could you really afford such an expense in the long run?
This is really disturbing. Please hear what he has to say, it really is a serious situation for working artists. Pass this along so others may know about the Adobe Creative Cloud and how horrible it is.
Yep… Just went to see how much Flash costs. You know, to just buy the program? Guess what? After spending a while looking, it appears that you CAN’T anymore. You have to pay an outrageous subscription fee. I hate adobe. Is there a petition going around to stop this nonsense? Because I want to sign it.

Today I just signed the petition in the voice against the Adobe Creative Cloud. For those who are not familiar with what the new Creative Cloud can do to you as an artist, I really suggest you watch this video.
For those who have seen, reblogged, faved, here’s the link (as shown in the previous reblog) to sign the petition. Anything can happen, Adobe really needs to know that many artists are not supportive of them controlling not just the software..but the content worked on the Cloud.

No one can fucking afford to pay monthly shit as is loke internet and you are essentially required to use AT LEAST photoshop in most major art business fields and since theres no other competitive program just as good that businesses can use then this is a huge slap to the face. Fuck that noise. I cant afford to have a phone with internet for even 50$ a month at the average for most features.
Most of the world is having some pretty shitty money issues as is. While expected to pay for more things that didnt exist a few decades ago while making less money to compensate for that. Unless youre fucking rich by some other means then by all means go ahead and pay whatevrr you want. But seeing as most arent and require the programs to work and pay for, etc the cycle of money.
